North Dakota
Thanks so much everyone for your words of wisdom. Ran straight trucks since I was 10(now 40). This will certainly be a change. Only ran 5x2's and one eaton fuller 9 speed. The backing up thing is something I was brought up on. Never tore up a clutch yet and don't want to start now. Was also told by a trucker with close to 2 million miles under his belt to back truck up at an angle in soft ground. Then when you take off you will start without actually moving the trailer for a few feet.

Will be awhile before I will be hauling. Shop area where bins are is now flooded. Ditches full of ice and snow and culverts plugged with ice.
Water is backing up pretty good. Spent day cleaning culverts and had backhoe clean some ditches out last night so hopefully things will improve. Was in the field last year at this time. My seeder is still covered with 3ft of snow. Will be awhile. Thanks again!!!
