Sounds like you are a dealer and sold a used tractor with a marginal A.C. system. You sold it as presented to the new buyer who later found fault with the A.C., complained to you about it and even though you were not contractually obligated to do so (having sold it As-Is), you properly fixed it. If this is accurate, then I say bully for you; the world needs more dealers who stand behind their product with the old axiom of "the customer is always right".
Regardless of whether you are a mainline dealer, a shortliner or a jockey, you gain customer respect when you go beyond the obligation of the sale.
