Subject: Latest project.....new sheds

Pittsburg, Kansas

We got out of the turkey growing business a little over a year ago. So what do you do with almost 1900 linear feet of 40' wide buildings with 7' high eves? This is what we are doing with some of them.

We used new galvalume on the roof and the sidewall that faces the road. You will notice that the south wall is the old darker galvalume that came off the old barns. We are going to use the old tin on the rest of the sheds. We added 8" channel to make 16' sidewalls. Using the old 2x4 purlins on the side walls and some of the purlins, the rest new lumber as needed. The barns were 13 years old. These two sheds are 40'x120'. We also have the piers poured for a 80x140 and it will be next.
