Subject: RE: oil in water well

There are some wells in this area that have a sulpher smell and taste to varing degrees. My dad lived on a farm that had a gassy smell but wasn't too bad. My cousin has a well that is too nasty to drink but his dad lives about 100 yards East of him and has great water. We tend to notice that houses that are "lined" up across sections have the same water quality.
I would guess if you have bad water now, you will continue to have bad water to some degree. I have to agree to abandon that well and try somewhere else. Read once in Farm Show magazine about a guy treating his water with concentrated Peroxide and made it better.
