sounds to me like it's trying to wrap them around the cylinder. speed it up. Why folks run the cylinder so slow is beyond me. Unless we are getting a lot of splits we like to run it up been as high as 800 some years. If your bars are good and cylinder is going fast enough to take the beans away it shouldn't slug.Concave clearance will not do a whole lot but holding the beans closer to the cylinder allows it to get traction to suck them through.
