500 ppm is the high sulfur version fuel now but wasn't there at least one other reduction previously ?

What would have been the ppm content of high sulfur fuel from say the mid 80's before previous sulfur reduction(s) ? does anybody know or remember ?

I'm hopeful the B-20 "here" will help prevent a lot of high $ pump/injector problems.
