It's my understanding that the older style rotary pumps absolutely need the sulfur in the fuel for lubrication. Adding sulfur to the engine oil will not help lubricate the older rotary pumps. I know my Roosa Master pumps do not have a separate oil line running to them like the newer inline pumps do.
