We had the same thing in SC KS...20-25" of rain the first 3 wks of June. We had groundwater at the surface of the soil. Between the waterlogged soils for 4 wks while things dried out, we also lost our N. Either out the top when the water came up or out the bottom when the water went down. As noted above, thank goodness for insurance.
