Many years ago, we where running behind and the Fert dealer had one day to apply 28% on top of "just planted corn" before a big rainy spell. We took the deal, since the N would just already be on there. It was really poor corn and we eventually decided that the big rain just washed the 28% off and down the waterways. It was hard to believe, since we thought the rain would indeed help with the 28%.

We now inject 28 with a knife toolbar preplant.
