Subject: RE: planting on strip-till strips -- how do you do it?

we have a 12 row strip rig and a 12 row planter. It makes it very simple to stay in the strip when planting. Its so simple i could do it in my sleep, i'm not trying to brag, i'm just stating how easy it really is. There really isn't anybody else doing true striptill around here and when i talk to people about it they just don't understand how i can stay in the stips all the time. I don't have autosteer, don't use my markers very much and yes, we farm hilly, terraced ground as well. The only thing is when running the strip rig, i do the main body of the field first, then the end rows last to rip out any tracks. When planting i do ends first.
