As previously mentioned, it may depend on your slopes etc, but it is a non-issue on flat ground with my mounted 1Tripr and pull-type planter. The planter wants to find the strip and stay. It seems like a 3pt planter should follow in the strip ok if you are able to have straight rows. Curves are probably another story. Have you tried the planter behind the Orthman yet? It may be a different structure of strip than the Schlagel.
