Subject: Tedbear - Using Insight with old Hiniker?

Extreme southeast Nebraska
About 25 years ago I purchased a complete Hiniker setup for monitoring and controlling spraying and anhydrous application. The monitors are the Computer Facts and Auto Facts units. For anhydrousing, the applicator has the cylindrical Hiniker heat exchanger and a compact combination flowmeter/servo valve module. I don't use the sprayer portion anymore but still use the system for strip tilling anhydrous with a 12 row rig.

This spring, I installed and used an Insight to run Trucount clutches on my planter. Do you know if it would be feasible and affordable to use the new Insight to read and control the Hiniker module? Or would I be better off replacing the flow/servo unit with something else? If so, what brand based on compatibility, price, and performance?

Also, I have the strip till rig setup in two 6 row sections controlled by two KT electric valves. What modules or relays would be needed if any to have the Insight control them with its Autoswath capabilities?

Thanks
