Saronville NE | We have tried coc with notill with mixed results, dryland isnt to bad, but the irrigated 200 bu stuff is kinda hard to get thru the trash. We have tried planting inbetween the old row, with mixed results, some times good stands, sometimes poor stands. Couple neighbors are trying planting at an angle, same thing mixed results. So some of you guys that have been notill for 5-20 yrs have any experience with contnious corn, some of my ground just will not grow beans so we just keep growing corn, last yr we had a wheat rotation in there and planting into that is no problem, but now want to go back to coc for next yr, any secrets or advice. Am on 30" rows and this is under a pivot, alot of clay and gumbo on this farm. TIA for any ideas. | |
