| I haven't planted pioneer for a decade or more. One doesn't need alot of experience picking corn up off the ground to dampen his enthusiasm for the product. My next door neighbor picked 240 acres of Pioneer corn going one way. Needless to say he was more than a bit disgruntled.
Now I plant dekalb and have been pleased with yields and quick dry down. Unfortunately, not as quick this year as usual. But none the less, it is standing like pitch folk handles awaiting the combine. Btw, I'm not botcotting Pioneer. I just don't have any logical reason to go back. However in my earlier days I planted all pioneer for a couple of decades. | |
