Guys...I called my Pioneer DSM a few weeks ago and asked why I could not see Pioneer products in local first plots. He stated the biggest reason is Pioneer wants to enter a product multiple times in a plot. I asked him why he would want to do that and he said that if you look at all the products that are the same being sold by different companies it would be the fair comparison. For example...DK785VT3 is sold by many companies (Crows, Heritage, Stone, Asgrow, Midwest Seeds, etc). I think he said this one is sold by 11 companies across the corn belt. So if each one of these 11 companies enter a product and they all would enter this number a FIRST plot could have the same genetics 11 times. He said Pioneer has asked to enter a product 11 times to equal this example and FIRST has stated NO therefore they don't enter.
