Bourbon,Indiana | I misled a little bit. While it was a 90* turn I have to use a large radius due to the wide tires. As someone else mentioned, the wide tires will hit the stringer if turned too short. So I was while I was making a sharp turn, I was turning slowly and with as large a radius as possible. If you go back to the first couple of pics I positioned the wheels in the approximate angle they were in when the hub failed. There was still several inches from the inside of the front right tire to the stringer. Generally I work by myself with only limited help on Saturdays, so I am the primary driver and am pretty careful coming out of the fields. However once I get straightened out on the road it is hammer down. |
