Yep, changed engine oil in my 835 Versatile back in the 80's and neglected to get the old rubber gasket out of the groove. Put the new filter on, started her up and pumped out 5 gal of oil in 5 seconds. Nice mess. Only once did I neglect to put the drain plug back in. Seven quarts of oil on the shop floor under the 6.2 diesel. Stepped into it just before start up, luckily, and didn't turn the key.
