Saronville NE
You know talkin about how bad a guy abused his first vehicle, has anybody else noticed how much more abuse the old ones took than the newer ones do. Heck that old 1/2 ton I had with the 6cyl and 3 sp auto, had been abused anyways possible, I had done lots of dukes of hazzard stuff with it, and in 50k plus miles never put a tranny, rearend or motor in it, now if I did those things tranny would be gone. Anymore gettin stuck if I kept my foot on the gas, while roddin back and forth from F- R, the new OD trannys would be gone almost instantly, why is that? Or pullin a dukes or movie typ deal and going backwards real fast and turning the steering wheel and dropping it in drive at the same time, and spinning it around, tranny and rearend would be gone, but not on that old pickup. We tried to kill that thing, cause then I could get something different, never did kill it. LOL
