1965 F-100 352 V-8 with a 3 speed manual. Not pretty, not fast, but at
least it got terrible mileage 8-10 mpg. At least gas was cheap back then.
That dainty little aluminum collar that the shifter mounted on would break almost as fast as you could replace it. Shifted with a pair of Vice Grips most of the time. I sure miss being able to fill up for 5 bucks but I don't miss that truck. ( or the slosh of having the gas tank behind the seat)
