South central, Nebraska | I was thinking flexibility is the key factor.
Isn't the 252 about $1000 dollars more than upgrading a waas only 500 up to rtk?
What about recouping the rtk upgrade fees it either system fails?
It just seems a bit unfair if a person was to pay for rtk unlock fees and possibly have catastrophic equipment failure the next day, with no way to transfer the unlock to a new system.
I ask a dealer about having loaner units available if service was needed on a used unit. They said offering a waas only loaner is not a problem but, if a customer was running rtk, the dealer would have to upgrade the loaner unit to rtk. They said that won't likely happen cause then they are stuck with a used rtk level system. I can see their problem with that but, sure doesn't help the guy that has all the money invested in a defective unit?
Is there anyone exchange program available for failed rtk systems? | |
