| Seedstar 2 will start on MY 2009 planters. The quick way to know is if the wedgeboxs are Green in color rather than grey. The cost is not out yet but it sounds like it will be between $1500 and $2000 for the wedgebox. If you have more than 24 rows you will need 2 boxes.
The RowCommand system will be integrated right into Seedstar 2 and will act just like TruCount but you wont have to have the rate controller or air system. There will be an additional controller on the platner to talk to the Seedstar and the rows. A rough estimate of what it will cost is $500 a row if you are Seedstar 2 ready. JD has not come out with the field installed bundle prices yet so we dont know for sure yet what exactly it will cost.
