I think a potential problem for many folks there might be the size wiring used to run that 12V battery power back thru the truck, thru the plug, into the trailer, then up to the studs. I'm guessing many guys might have only 12 or 14 ga under the truck, which might be kind of light depending what you hook onto it.

I use those studs on our 5th wheel trailer for spraying & running mini-bulk pumps. But, I run a 8 ga wire to the battery from the stud.
