I don't know if our situation is changed because we run our own repeater tower, but I'll check with our Motorola rep and get the exact details.

I do know he warned me to be careful picking up used radio's because of the upcoming change and even suggested a couple years ago that we might have wanted to roll a few of the older ones through ebay before the change became widely known.

I'll post back what I find out.
