Australia | You don't absolutely need the cell service. You can access the DOT correction stream from your PC at home or in the office via the internet. Run some NTRIP software on the PC. You then connect a compatible radio to the serial port on the PC and transmit the correction out to your machine. Apart from the radio it is then free forever.
We can do this in the lab at Leica but I am not sure if anyone has released NTRIP software for a PC? | |
