I have the EZG500 running Omni XP, what does it cost to unlock for RTK? Then what other equipment do you need to connect the smartphone to the EZG 500?
What are the issues with dropped cell phone calls? I do get poor cell reception in some fields? Is there a better external attenna one can put on the cab roof to improve cell reception?
IF?????? my fields happened to be within a certain radius of the CORS site ("X" miles), can a person run the Rover Radio instead (though you lose the in-cab internet)?
Just tossing out a number of thoughts as I consider my upgrade strategy when Iowa gets the CORS working.
I was, for the most part, very happy planting this spring with Omni XP but didn't like the convergence time and $800.
