On mine when I run 10 gal/ac I have to adjust the banjo valve after the flow meter. It depends on how fast I want to run but I usually have it anywhere from just about closed to half way open. I think it says on a sticker by the valve that under 26 gal/min you are supposed to close it all the way. I can tell if I have to close it some cause the gal/ min starts jumping unreasonably. Maybe you have tried that already But that is what I know to do.
