Subject: calibrating yield monitors

West Central Iowa
I'm installing a yield monitor/gps in my combine this fall. Some quick reading of the instuctions suggests 4 or more calibration runs of 150 bu or so at different speeds for best accuracy. I am willing to do so if necessary, but I am just curious what everyone else does. Also, how often do you recal afterwards? Is once/season/crop good enough?

Thanks
