So. IL | System was not flushed, as sanden does not reccomend it. I have herd too many bad things about flushing and solvent left in the system. When we were charging it, it acted real strange. the high side would jump to 350-375 for a little while, then the high side switch would cut out like it should. It was building preasure real fast before the switch would cut out. Then after the high side got back to about 210, the compressor would kick back in, and the high would stay in the 275-285 range. It almost acted like there was blockage, but then the pressure would level back out. We put 3.5lbs in the system. The truck has a bunch of red dot parts, and i have a new expansion valve laying in the shop. Should i change it? Anyone know where the orface tube is located? Condensor and evaporator were both cleaned. I don't think this is a engine fan issue, as I turned on the fan override button, and it did not help. | |
