So. IL | I converted a 94 pete daycab from R12 to R134 last week, but it is not cooling much. We put a new sanden compressor on it, along with a new reciever/drier(all from pete dealer), pulled vac for 1/2 hr, and filled with 134. It works ok going down the road, but will not cool sitting still. Have about 40 on the low, and 285 in the high. condensor is clean along with the evaporator, and the heater valve is shut off. What else can i do? Compressor was changed due to a bad clutch, a slight noise, and the fact that it was 14 years old. Systerm had the correct ammount of r12 before, but it did not cool. thanks! | |
