| The bottom line is this. As a producer, if you aren't happy with the adjustment, don't sign off on it. You can always request that there be another appraisal. If you have a real gripe, usually a claims supervisor will come talk with you and adjust or handle the situation. Also, another thing to consider is the company you are with. Some companies have full time adjusters vs. part-time adjusters. Part time guys usually worry about everything else they have to do before you, but full time guys have one job- adjust your crop and keep you and the company both happy.
