Anamoose, ND
So you must have had the same "Professional Adjuster" that we had Steve. Our fields were just as bad, 18 inch tall wheat mowed down to 2 inch tall. One week later the adjuster comes out and looks at you like "Why did you call me, most people would be happy with a stand of wheat like this." I can't figure out how they can think wheat that was a week away from heading can get cut off down to the ground and still recover. I am to the point where it is too far into the growing season to start reseeding it all, but you really have to shake your head at crop insurance. We are going to reseed our beans to early maturing sunflowers, the rest we are going to take what we get since the RA guarentee is good.
