Verify flow meter calibration reading and re-calibrate if necessary.
A. Flow-meters with the calibration setting on the flow meter:

With the Raven flow meter, just put the number in the flow-meter to read out the flow on the EZ Guide Plus or the Field Manager Display.
B. Flow-meters without no calibration setting on flow meter:

1. Get a container that reads in ounces and that holds approximately 64 ounces (1/2 gallon).
2. Go to the Flow calibration in EZ-Boom
3. Set the following on the Flow Calibration page
a. Rough Flow M Cal number
b. The target flow rate
c. The speed that the sprayer will travel in the field or a speed from the nozzle sheet
d. The total number of nozzles on the boom

4. Start the flow (the rate switch must be in Rate 1 or 2) and all boom sections must be on.
5. Place container described in step 1 under one of the nozzles. Keep the container under the nozzle for one minute.
6. Record the time and ounces of water captured in container.
7. Do steps 5 and 6 for three to four different nozzles.
8. Determine the flow out of the sprayer

Measured flow = Average from the nozzles measured multiplied by the number of nozzles.
9. Record value shown on EZ+ or FMD for Avg Flow and Calc' Flow.
10. Ensure that calculated flow and the measured flow from the nozzles is the same.
11. If calculated flow and the measured flow are the same, follow the menus and the flow meter calibration value will be updated.
12. If the measured flow does not equal the calculated flow, then enter the measured flow. The flow meter calibration value will be updated.
13. Repeat steps 4 through 12 to ensure the display reads correctly.
