I would say a 7710 or 7810 with MFWD and a reverser would be the way to go. There is nothing wrong with something a little older than those but if you forget to plug it in in the winter a 00 or 10 series will be much more forgiving. Once you have MFWD and the reverser you will wonder what you did without it.
