I have seen them chained up when alot of people are around. One striptill demo I was at did it.

I put a couple big square tubes in the door tracks and only opened the door 8 feet for one of out meetings we had in the shop.

I think about them heavy doors up there fairly often.  Sounds like a million dollar idea! lol
