Scotland

For rusts we are using triazoles but the main target for all sprays is still septoria tritici. Use mainly epoxiconazole (Opus) and prothioconazole (Proline) in mixture with chlorothalonil. Also include boscalid for eyespot control and metrafenone for mildew and enhanced eyespot control. Spray up to 4 times depending on variety and risk factors, fungicide cost will be about £90/ha at most. The only place we get a return on strobs is with ear disease so we apply a dose at head spray timing, usually dimoxystrobin mixed with epoxiconazole.

Yield goal for this is 4 tonnes, heavier ground will average 3.5 to 4 tonnes/acre, lighter land 3 to 3.5 of wheat. Crop also gets 3 doses of growth regulator to keep it standing and 200Kg of N/Hectare.
