Ashburn, GA, (very close to Heaven!)

Area farmers have been spreading litter and fertilizer, doing some burn down, and trying to put out some Telone, but the Telone might get left off, as it is just a little on the wet side, and got another 0.5 to 0.7 late yesterday. We are ready to plant corn, but not much has gone in yet. I'd guess that the corn acres around here are 15% planted.

Corn planting ideal dates are March 10 to April 10. Cotton is April 25 to May 25. Peanut May 1 to May 25. Soybean, well probably May 1 to June 15.
