Wheatley, Arkansas
We're only waiting right now because the soil is too wet. Would like to have been planting last week. There hasn't been any field work done around here to speak of. I remember a few years back before there was a lot of corn planted in this area, we sat and almost watched the whole planting window go by. For a rice and corn operation the optimum window of opportunity is here today and beginning to close with each new rain.

Corn; like to plant mid March to early April.

Rice; like to plant late March to mid April.

We are at least 5 days from being in the fields as of today.

Les
