I do a little landscaping work, and have worked behind a contractor that did just what he suggests. It worked out well. Just remember to drive ON the existing patio, never off. Straight on and straight off the plywood.
The pump truck is the key. It can sit in front of your house, they'll run the boom up and over the roof. No need to wheel anything.
May cost you a bit extra, but take it out of the Blonde's clothing fund. Yeah, doesn't work here either, somehow she always digs into MY pocket!
