a lot of the shoes are that way from the factory. same problem occurs in sticky muddy conditions.

Jake. There is something in a guy's blood that says point 'er uphill when the tractor begins to slide. Grousers will hold on the imperfections of frozen ground, but not side ways. High track or conventional doesn't matter. I get to including single bar grousers as normal as that's all I have ever been around except for excavator. Triple bar grousers still slide more sideways, just more noticeable with single bar as they do act as ice skates.
