Subject: RE: rule number 1 on frozen ground

If machine begins to slide, turn uphill immediately. Cat with grousers on ice is like being on 72 ice skate, but it won't slide backwards. We got called out one winter, -3 F, D6D started sliding down hill, operator rode it out for 1/8 mile then jumped off the high side. It wound up on its side in a ditch at the bottom of the long hill. We had to go into a controlled slide to go around the rig. Always at an uphill angle. Backed down the hill and pulled the D6 over easy as we could.

D7E has 4 cylinders with turbo, Power Steering, Turbo, Power Shift, Suspension Seat? We have its older sister, D7D 17A 18692.
