| I have only done tractors converted to 12v so don't know about the 6vs. By chance, did you possibly forget to take the tape of the side of the rotor? I forgot to do that on the first one I put in & couldn;t get the tractor to start. I did all the checks they recomended & it still wouldn't start. Finally called the guy that I bought it from & told him what I had done. He asked if I had taken the tape off, what tape I asked?. Took it off & the tractor fired right up.
