We put the kit on an old M that we used to run an auger. Points were always having trouble if they sat out in the rain. Never had a problem after converting to electronic. I'd do it again instantly if the need arose. We got our kit from our CIH dealer. They were NOT an CIH part, but he carried them anyway. Everybody converts the old IH engines so it's a popular part sale for him. I think it was around $100.
