Never put one on IH but the unit works flawlessly on side dist 8N. I also converted a Ford 390 and a Chevy 261 I-6.
My experience with IH points on a Super M was they would work fine until the spring broke on a -20 degree morning! Always fun to be changing points in a snowbank LOL!
