From what I understand the different colors refer to what your system is designed for. Supposedly the newer ones can't have the older (green) glycol. I was told that it will react with the newer solders and plastic tanks causing them to fail prematurely. Thats what my rad guy told me so I'm just passing it on. Don't shoot the messenger. :)
