Amarillo, Tx | Phil, I took a soil sample before planting and it recommended 80 lbs. of N and 25 lbs of phosphate. So I put on 75 net lbs. of NH3 and 40 lbs. of 1152 banded with the seed using a concord air seeder. It was planted in early November to help decrease the chance of getting freeze damage in the spring.
