We put pex in our house remodel for water and on the box it warned not to expose to sunlight for over 30 days. I assume it does not have good UV protection from deteriation. This might be a concern from both around the welding area and anywhere near doors that might be left open.
I don't know if it would be a problem, but potentially might be.
