| A quick Google search shows that the ASTM standard for composite PEX-Al-PEX is 200 psi at 74.3F and 160 psi at 140F for all sizes. Composite carries a higher pressure rating that standard PEX. Air and fluids flow faster in PEX than in copper or iron pipe because of minimal turbulence so pipe size can typically be reduced by one size without affecting system flow.

Higher rated pipe is available but yoiu have to talk with the mfg. Price goes up because the competition is ASTM standard.
