What do you guys use to keep the dirt from the cornstalks out of the combine?

I have been no-tilling beans for many years with a Great Plains Drill and recently had problems with the stalks coming through the combine and the dirt wearing things out. I have run a Tiger Jaw cutter bar for a long time to get better ground speeds and a closer cut.

What do you guys use?

Do you roll the ground at drilling time?
Would a rolling basket or rolling harrow help?
What type of cutter bar is the best on a JD 220 platform?

What works best?

Just looking for some more ideas, Thanks.
