| Uncle plows commercial with a 1500HD, pretty much the same as the 2500. Has nearly 140,000 on his and no problems out of the drivetrain. The thing you will have to change eventually is the front wheel bearings. I plan on putting one on my 05' DMax but Western won't sell you one anymore. Have to buy in and take it home and put it on. I will give you one piece of advice. Go with a 7½' and put the wings on it. You will like how the snow carries on the blade for cleanup. If you go to a 8' with wings I don't think you are legal on width. JMHO! | |
