Two weeks out selling culls. PRRS is rearing its ugly head again. A very hot strain that is killing sows. Friend has a share of a unit in Illinois that lost 160+ sows in TWO days. Doesn't even factor in the abortions. It would have to be terribly depressing to be a worker there. I can't imagine dragging out that many sows in 2 days.
What do you hear? Sow liquidation ?
